Meet Avalanche 🐾

Avalanche is a 2–3 year old, 74 lb Great Pyrenees who truly just wants to be close to his people.

He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and great with kids, adults, and other dogs. He thrives on connection and isn’t shy about asking for it — leaning in for pets or climbing right into your lap like he weighs 10 pounds instead of 74.

A volunteer recently spent time with him and got the full experience — one paw turned into two, and before long, his whole fluffy self was stretched across her lap.

With a medium energy level, he’s the perfect mix of fun and calm. He’s gentle, attentive, and eager to please, and he shines at adoption events.

We truly can’t believe he’s still here — but we know the right home will see just how special he is.
