WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals’ lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.

Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

Home Recommendation: Towns is looking for a loving family ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be! She would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of playtime, daily exercise, and opportunities to learn new things. Like all puppies, Towns is still learning about the world around her and will benefit from continued training, patience, and guidance. She loves being part of the action and would enjoy a family that includes her in their daily activities. Whether it's going for walks, playing in the yard, or snuggling after a fun day, this sweet pup is ready for her forever home! 

Personality: Towns is a smart, affectionate, and curious little girl who enjoys being close to her person. She loves following her person around to see what is going on and likes being involved in daily activities. Towns enjoys playing with her toys, exploring her surroundings, and learning new things. When she is ready to relax, she loves curling up for a nap next to her favorite person.

Training: Towns is a smart little girl and is learning new things every day! Like any puppy, she is still working on her basic manners, house training, and leash skills, but she is eager to learn and responds well to patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She is a bright puppy who enjoys learning and will continue to thrive with a family committed to helping her build confidence and develop good habits. With a regular routine and continued training, she is sure to grow into a well-mannered and wonderful companion.

WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Some large-scale breeding programs occasionally have dogs and puppies they are unable to place due to medical needs, birth defects, appearance differences, or simply because there is not enough demand. WISE partners with groups working to help provide these dogs with a second chance rather than an uncertain future. We are committed to rescuing and caring for dogs of all kinds — healthy, medically fragile, senior, or those with special needs — and giving them the love, safety, and opportunity they deserve.
