Red has spent far too long waiting.

He's a gentle, 5-year-old boy with a calm soul and a heart that's never stopped trusting people. While so many dogs bounce off the walls, Red is content simply being near you, soaking up every bit of attention he can get.

Life hasn't been kind to him.

He lives on our Tecate property in a small outdoor space where his world never changes. Day after day, he watches life pass by from the same spot. He's fed well, maybe a little too well, but what he really needs isn't more food.

He needs freedom.

He needs walks.
He needs soft beds.
He needs someone to tell him he's finally home.

Red gets along wonderfully with people and has an easygoing personality that would make him an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend.

He's not asking for much.

Just a chance.
