Meet Coffee ☕

Coffee spent almost the entire first year of his life growing up on the Tecate property.

On September 27, 2026, we finally got him out.

And within days, Coffee started showing us something we couldn’t possibly know while he was living there:

This dog was made for home life.

Coffee is incredibly sweet, affectionate and remarkably chill. He loves being near his people without demanding constant attention. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, is good with cats, loves people, and has an easygoing personality that makes him fit right in.

And somehow, after spending his life outside, Coffee has adapted to living inside almost immediately.

☕ Born September 28, 2025
❤️ Incredibly loving and affectionate
😌 Super chill, easygoing personality
🏠 Potty trained — zero accidents
🚪 Already learned the doggie door
🛏️ Good in his kennel
🐕 Great with dogs of all sizes
🐱 Good with cats
👨‍👩‍👧 Good with people
🚐 Transport available to approved adopters and fosters

Coffee spent his first year watching life from the other side of a fence.

Now he knows what a house is. He knows what it feels like to be loved. He knows where the doggie door goes. And he has made it very clear that he is ready to be somebody’s dog.

Coffee is available for foster or adoption.

Once we have a committed foster or adopter for Coffee, we will complete his remaining boosters, microchip and neuter before he leaves. Because our rescue funding is limited, we prioritize those final veterinary expenses for dogs who have a confirmed place to go.

Coffee waited almost a year to get off that property. I don’t want him spending another year waiting for a family.
