Weight: Approx 65 lbs.

Age: 10 years old

Personality: Piper is the sweetest girl who just wants to be in your company! She loves to lay next to you on the couch and soak up your attention. She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and smile on her wrinkly face! Piper is quiet and affectionate. While Piper may be a golden girl, she still loves to play tug-of-war and spend time outside

Home recommendation: Piper would love a home where her people are almost always home that has lots of human visitors for her to love on! 

Kids: 10+

Dogs: Maybe! Piper has done ok with some dogs but she'd prefer to be the only pet.

Cats: No

Crate Trained: Piper is not being crate-trained.

House Trained: Yes!

Leash Manners: Piper loves to go for short walks and walks well on leash.

Training: Piper is very smart and treat motivated! She has mastered commands "sit," "wait," and "paw.”

Medical: Piper is currently taking daily seizure medication that she will need for the rest of her life. She will need a committed owner who will make sure Piper is comfortable in her golden years.

Why did she come to WISE?: Piper was found as a stray and brought into a local, municipal shelter before being rescued by WISE
